Gabbly - A great add-on for Webmasters!

I recently came across a new tool or software on the internet and it is called Gabbly. This is basicly a chat software which runs in a frame on the website and allows the visitors to chat with each other. The good thing is that it floats on the top of the website and can be dragged, docked easily. It is still in development stages and is developed fast and I myself have seen 4-5 changes in few days only. With the mission to enables people to instantly connect and collaborate around any content, topic or interest ; I am sure that Gabbly will become an instant hit provided it will be promoted equally good.

Where it can help a webmaster?

Well, a webmaster will come to know the benfits of using Gabbly on the site instantly. As soon as they will use it, they will want to apply it on their websites. The reason for that is that it allows the users to interact with each other and thus gives the sense of a community and also it also allows users to discuss about various aspects of the website and thus enables the webmasters to deliver the content which users are looking for.

Users will be benefited as they will be able to discuss and clear things with other users of a website. Not only they'll be able to interact with others they'll come to know those points which they might not think upon and thus enlightening the knowledge.

As I've mentioned before that this software is right now under development and I've already seen some small changes in just few days so we can expect some great enhancements in future. They are already working on ADMIN TOOLS for webmasters and some other developments.

Well, all this information is accessible through their forum and I suggest you to visit the forum to know what exactly they are working on and other stuff like these.

I think Gabbly chat can be a revolution of future in internet world if given the right direction and if it gets those updates which are neccessary. It has some great features and allows users to see the pervious chats too. There are again endless possibilites with this new tool and can certainly be helpfull for the internet users and the community builders.

Here's the review of the software :

Interface : The interface of the sofware is clean but I think it needs some improvement in that section. May be new skins will help it.

Ease of Use : You cant find a simple chat application like this. It is really simple to use for the users and they just have to change their names and they are ready to chat.

Features : As this is still under development so it is not very rich in features but I am sure it will soon have the features which a webmaster or a user will like to have in it.

Value : As I've said earlier in my posts that the value of these freewares become priceless. So, they get full marks in this section.

Rating : 3 Dinos out of 5
It will surely get better rating than this as it is still not fully developed. It lacks certain feature like Admin control and due to which It has got only 3 Dinos.

By the way, to apply Gabbly to a site visit our homepage at www.gabbly.com and follow the instructions on the left. As you said, you can chat on any page by visiting www.gabbly.com/PageURL or you can embed the chat window directly into your site.
