Looking for writely - The online word proccessor?

Well, sometime back when Google Inc. acquired Writely.com everyone started to run towards it. And prior to that online word processing was not much highlighted but as soon as Google jumped into it, things changed. Now, these days people want the invitation of writely and want to use this new service from Google. Now, this post is not about Writely. I used the term writely because it is so popular that people actually dont want to know about other alternatives. They are waiting for the invitation to come from Google or may be someone from the internet. This post is about another such online word proccessor and that is Zoho Writer. This is a service which provides the same functionality which Writely is claiming to do.

What are the benefits ?

Well, there are lots of benefits in using this service. One being that you dont have to wait to use the power of online word processing. And others are mentioned below :

Lets you create, edit and share the documents online. You dont need to attach the files any more and share them. you get to simply share it online and the good thing is that if someone else has to make the changes then he can do it without any problems and all the users can get the update files immediatly.
Lets you email the files as PDF, DOC & SXW formats and all this directly from the interface itself..you dont need to download and upload the file for it. Not only this it allows you to export the files also in the above given formats.
Allows you to publish and make posts to the blogs and supports Wordpress, Blogger, LiveJournal & Typepad so that means it basically cover most of the blogging community.
It allows users to have a look at the HISTORY of the document. It allows users to see the changes which were made in that document.
There are lots and lots of features which are small but very effective..for e.g. auto saving feature, public sharing and many more.......

So, there are endless things which can be done with this service. It needs inovation to find the best use of this. Think that how Students, office workers, friends, bloggers can make use of it in their day to-day life.

Interface :The interface of the online application is extremely simple to use and those who have used Microsoft word or infact any word processor then they'll find it no different than them. Also the use of AJAX has made it so good that the navigation is exteremly fast and lets you make the changes in a snap.

Features : This service provides you lots and lots of features and major ones are already discussed in the starting of this technical article.

Value : If we are talking about a service which is providing all these fantastic features then I am sure the PROFFESSIONALS won't mind in paying for this service but I will like to tell you that it is a FREE service so you dont need to worry about the load on your pocket. So, its value get really high because of this service.

Ease Of Use : As, I've mentioned before that it is very easy to use and because it's interface is so simple and friendy that one can easily forget that he is working on an online processor. And another good thing is that the signup is extremely simple. Just put in the email & the password you want and select the option I AM A NEW USER. and click LOGIN. It will create the user and will log you in directly.

Now, after all this may I know that are you still looking for WRITELY? I guess, not any more :)
Well, but I am looking for writely's invitation- The reason for that is that I want to write a review for that service too :) Remember I am a Google Fan.

Thanks for the review. I prefer Zoho Writer over Google Docs, but it is ok too.
