What are the benefits & what it can do?

It has lot of benefits and as it is still in the beta phase we can expect lot of improvements in near future. The biggest features are :

1. It lets you edit, create, share and access the spreadsheets anywhere in the world. Just login to your account and the important spreadsheets are with you. Not only that you can also import and export the excel (XLS) files and Openoffice Calc files in to it, it also lets you export the files in the HTML & PDF formats.
2. It lets you use ANY excel style forumla and that makes it a very powerfull online application.
3. It allows you to create & edit the graphs and makes the analysis of data really easy.

There are again endless possibilities with this software and atleast those users who are need of a decent spreadsheet software but don't have huge amount of money to buy an expensive software like Microsoft Excel then they'll find it extremely usefull. They can also use OpenOffice.Org's Calc to perform the spreadsheet task but as I've said earlier that it needs ideas to get the maximum out of these online softwares. The best and simplest use can be that a group of people can work on one spreadsheet book at one time only!

Interface : The interface of SHEET is exteremly simple, nice and clean. It uses AJAX to drive the whole application, similar to Zoho Writer.

Features : The features of the Sheet are already discussed in the above section of the technical guide. And I am sure everyone will agree that it is one free program which is feature rich and we are expecting to see more in future when it will come out of BETA phase.

Value : It is really difficult to judge the value of great products like this because this program is not only free but has so many features that even paid ones are way behind it. And on top of that when this software is unique in itself then it becomes invaluable.

Ease Of Use : As the software has a look and feel of Microsoft Excel it becomes easy for the users to understand and operate it. The clean interface also adds that feeling of ease of use. Just like Zoho Writer it has a very simple sign up process and you just have to fill in 3 details and you get a new account.

Well, I think the creator of these products are doing a great job by providing Office applications for free and that too online softwares. I think that in near future big giants will come up in this field and we will be able to get better services because of competition.
