Google Trends - what it is all about?

With the help of Google Trends users can find out about how other people think of that particular topic which interests them. They can see all this in a graphs format and shows you other information related to the location from where it received the maximum searches.
It is still in the development phase, as the information about this was originally found @ Google Labs.
Not only this, it allows users to check specific months & years to see how the responce has gone up or down on a particular topic.
