Live.Com - A replica of Google?

Well, recently Live.Com has got a new different look and if you look closely, It is very much similar to Google's homepage. It has similar layout with Search box in the middle and then the options below like (news, images, etc.) which is a different thing because Google has options above the search box but if you look closely...they are almost same, I mean they are offering almost the same options. And, how can we forget the option of advertising, Like google shows its products below the search box..it may be of toolbar, picasa, google desktop search or any of the google product and at Live.com I see the option of Windows Live advertisement......
And on top right hand corner it gives you the option of logging into personalised homepage, just like Google offers its users to login to the personalised hompeage.
So, all in all, I think that Microsoft engineers or web designers have tried to copy something or may be it was not intentional but somehow it has come up with similar looks to that of Google's homepage. What do you think about it?
