Google Toolbar Is Out Of Beta For Internet Explorer

Saturday, July 29, 2006

Google announced the new version of Google Toolbar and said that now it is out of beta. It is to be noted that the update is basically for the Google Toolbar for Internet Explorer. With a great demand and as a good feature, now it supports custom buttons too! I am not sure if this was a planned release by Google (custom buttons one) because recently Microsoft also released the Gallery of extensions, button for WINDOWS LIVE TOOLBAR. Anyway, the change will be certainly welcomed provided, it is updated for Firefox as well. Google Toolbar for Firefox needs a lot of work and it seems to me that even though Google seems to be liking Firefox a lot, but still we are not getting a lot of updates from their side for Firefox.

The reason, I am saying this is that Google Toolbar for Firefox still misses a lot features than Google Toolbar for Internet Explorer, Like Bookmarks (one of the major feature) and certain small features as well. We can just hope for better and updated version for the toolbar for firefox.
