Around couple of days back (when I was facing the problem), Google released Google Checkout. Checkout was considered to be in competition with Paypayl however it is a bit different than Paypal. It is having a small part of Paypal and that is Checkout allows you to shop online with ease. Paypal on the other hand has lot many services (it can be considered as an Online Bank).

Philipp Lenssen checked the service and found that it failed after he tried to buy some DVDs from DVD EMPIRE.

Well, everybody was thinking that the service will be a competition to Paypal, however it is no where close to Paypal. Maybe it is something which we can expect in future that Google Checkout may give competition to Paypal.

Anyway, there is a lot of buzz in the blogosphere about Google Checkout and I will not like to add those speculations and other things related to Google Checkout..I am leaving that work with the PRO Bloggers :)
