Vyew 2.0 - A Look At The Pre-release

Some time back, I had reviewed Vyew - an online collaboration tool and found the tool extremely useful for those who have something to share with others in a meeting and the tool seem to make good impression for future as well. Recently, Vyew team has announced that they'll be launching the new version of the service and will introduce new features in the new release. I was fortunate to get hold to the new release of Vyew, however it is not open for general public at this point of time.

Interface : The new version seem to have improved a bit in interface and the good thing is that it has got a better and looks much clean than the older interface. The tools on the right hand side have moved to left hand side of the screen, thus the workspace comes in the middle as the chat and the user list is still on the right hand side.

Features : Vyew 2.0 has same features and has added certain more features and due to which it becomes more useful. The big new feature in this version is Vyew Books. This is nothing but the ability to save the sessions in your account for later reference.

It now has better drawing tools and has imporved a lot in importing of the documents as well.

Another feature which will be a great add-on is Vyewlet. This will allow users to integrate the VyewBooks in their websites & blogs and thus will provide interaction in the websites.

Well, the new version seems to be much more promising than the earlier version and the constant development seems to be a good thing too. It is nice to see that they are working hard towards achieving the goal of making an application as good as Microsoft's Netmeeting or may be more than that too.
