What Beta Blogger Lacks ?

1. Images Manager : I guess this is one of the features which everyone will love to see. I remember the day, when Blogger announced that they will now support uploading of photos, everyone cheered about it. But, soon all the cheers vanished as everyone noticed that there is no way of managing the uploaded images.
2. Import Function : Blogger still misses the import function of the posts from other platforms. I know that most bloggers who use wordpress or typepad will not switch to blogger for various reasons and this is one of the reasons.
3. User Management Functions : Another negative and this is the biggest one in keeping the wordpress/typepad fans away from using blogger.
4. Comment Spam : Blogger has only Captcha support for avoiding spam. It must have an intelligent tool to detect comment spam automatically.
5. Pages Support : Blogger only allows users to create posts and it does'nt allow users to create pages. Pages give the blog an additional help. As, it gets the functionality of a website as well.
6. TrackBacks : Although Blogger has blocked it to avoid spam, however I feel that it is nice to have trackbacks as blogging works with the help of trackbacks and it is one of the major features of blogging. They support the Link to the post but still that is not giving the functionality of TrackBack.
7. Control Over Blog : Overall, Blogger fails to give the powerful control over the blog and that is in major areas of blogging.
