AOL scanner ignores AOL's own badware!

In an article, James Coates was asked a question from one of their readers that AOL security seems to breaching the trust by not finding the adware of AOL. The user says that he knows this because he scanned the computer using a different spyware scanner and it came up as the AOL softwares are considered as badware.

To this James said that in case there is any adware installed by AOL software then there is no need to worry because they are not actually badware's. There so called adware doesn't logs keystrokes or anything like that and doesn't leaks the information. He also said that AOL has promised to find out any security holes and will fix it as soon as possible and that AOL is working towards it.

I agree with James that there is no need to worry about anything regarding the cookies or any other adware from AOL. AOL is a big company and they will not do anything which will hurt their reputation and now as AOL is doing and changing its policies, I'm sure they'll be able to fix the problems like these.
Also, It is always suggested by me that it is always nice to have two or more security softwares and one must not rely on just one security solution.

So, the person who raised the question did the right thing by having more than two security softwares and thus he was able to find out such critical information.
