Cost Of Windows Vista - Is it worth buying Vista?
Friday, September 01, 2006
It is to be noted that the most basic version of Windows Vista will be costing $199 which is equal to Windows XP home edition's price. However, it is yet not clear about the major difference between these two operating systems. Apart from the graphics, we don't see many differences in between these two systems.
Same is the case with Windows Xp pro and the business versions of the vista. Now, the question rises that is it worth buying the upgrade of the windows vista or buying the whole new pack of windows vista when one already owns Windows Xp.
I think that it will be difficult for Microsoft to sell Windows Vista, they will need to bring out some major differences between these two operating systems apart from the graphics in order to make it a success. Although, it is for sure that the new PC's will have windows vista as Microsoft will be able to make deals with Dell, HP, Lenovo and other PC manufacturing companies. However, the sale of upgrades will be certainly less.
