zohonotebook.pngCouple of days back Zoho announced Zoho Notebook as their new product and with the launch of Zoho Notebook my speculations of launch of Zoho drive have gone completely wrong. Anyway, Zoho Notebook is Private Alpha and it is available for selected users only. I was the lucky one to receive an invitation for the same and after looking at the Zoho Notebook, I can say that Zoho has done it again!

Zoho notebook is straight competition to Microsoft’s OneNote and even in the Alpha stage it looks really impressive. Zoho has focused on sharing in the past and in this product also they have focused a lot on sharing and collaboration. Zoho notebook is a web notebook (just like traditional notebook but with web elements in it.) which has pages where you can take notes, add text, images, videos, audio, zoho documents (from zoho writer, zoho sheet, zoho planner, zoho creator and zoho show), web pages, RSS feeds, attach files, HTML and can use drawing tools as well to spice up the notebook. The best feature of Zoho notebook is that it lets you record your audio and video and Zoho has made it possible by a recent collaboration with Flixn. There are so many features that it can be really difficult to explain the power of Zoho notebook through words and I think that is why Raju Vegesna thought of displaying its features through a video.

Anyway, I’m including the screenshot of Zoho notebook (courtesy Zoho) (and watch this video) to give you an idea of how exactly this product looks like and that how many features it incorporates. All in all, once this product will be released in March, it will certainly shake the whole web based office suites and I’m sure that this will certainly make life of many students, teachers and business people really easy.

Well, as far as headline of the post is concerned, I can easily say that it is really a rocking product and Microsoft OneNote will loose some customers and Zoho will certainly win their love.
