DivShare, the file hosting service with which many of us have fallen in love with. The reason is simple : Service, features & great support. DivShare, which I covered last month has constantly grown and added many new features in it. Now, they’ve added so many features that I couldn’t resist myself from blogging about them and here I present all (at least the major ones) the features and activities they’ve done after I covered them for the first time…
1. Pro Accounts : This being the latest offer from them, that now they’ve started to offer paid accounts. Now, lets look at the some of the features of the free account and then lets look at the paid account option :
Features of Free account :
* Unlimited uploads.
* Files stay forever.
* 200 Mb file size limit.
* Unlimited downloads.
Features of Paid account :
* FTP account.
* 2 GB file size limit.
* All the features of free account.
They have got a flexible plan option too, where they charge $ 0.99/File, if you just have one or two files two upload and keep the backup of those files. However, I just wonder that who’ll ever need the space of this much big file. Apart from that they’ve got a monthly plan too in which they charge $ 9.99/Month and you get the complete package. Imagine, that how much you can save on their servers for such a less price. Other services are no where near to what they have to offer in the paid options.
2. Better User Panel : Divshare has got a better user panel from the last time. It allows you to group files in folders and displays the files in the control panel and lets you do lots of actions, like Share the files, with a group or rename it, or maybe make it private or public. One can easily share the files with others through the codes they’ve provided for various networks and submit the files to Digg or Facebook too.
3. Power Uploader : This was one of the feature, which will be cherished by everyone. With the help of power uploader, now it is quite easy to upload multiple files or even folders too. One just has to drag and drop the files and it will upload the file easily.
4. Upload Videos and watch them : Divshare is not only giving competition to file hosting services but has started giving competition to video hosting services too. The plus points of this service are :
* Lets you download the original video file for future use and they allow you to use the Flash file too.
* The videos are encoded at high quality and displayed at a width of 560 Pixels.
* Lets you upload videos of up to 200 MB and again, if the video is really big then you can always make use of the paid options too.
Well, all these updates and in fact there were some more, but as I said that the major changes will be listed here and believe me that the speed at which they are releasing new features and give you great options is just unbelievable. Sometimes, I wonder that are the other companies who’ve got that Beta on their logo are doing anything or not ? I think they must learn from these guys and should release updates frequently and they’ll be loved by users too.
Sponsors : Creating a site is only half the job. Getting a 350-001 certification can help you through the development phase. With the help of hosting articles you can easily find out which companies provide cheap hosting. Some companies offer free domain registration if you sign up for their dedicated hosting services. The actual job is internet marketing and seo to bring about a search engine ranking.

Last year, in October Google made some serious changes in Google Reader and is now one of the most used online feed reader services. Of course, they made some really good changes and that’s why, its gained a good reputation in the over crowded marked of Online Feed readers. Lets see the positives and negatives of this service :
PROS of Google Reader :
1. Easy Navigation : The best feature of Google reader is its navigation and I actually like it so much that I once thought that, how wonderful it will be if Gmail could have same navigation too. Anyway, the good thing about the navigation is that it lets you read the feeds in a big pane scrollable pane. Not only you can choose to select only All Unread Items (which are sortable in various ways) but you can choose to read, already read items and that too for a specific feed.
2. User Interface : Google Reader is two pane feed reader. It has got the list of all the subscribed feeds on the left column and the scrollable (Ajaxified) pane on the right hand side, where one can read the items. It lets users sort the feeds according to the time and lets you select the option, that you want to read All the items or are you only interested in the new unread items. It allows you to Star specific items for later reference (you can call it, bookmarking or saving of specific posts). It lets you share the posts with the world and also allows you to mark all the feeds as read, in case you are just not in a mood of reading too many feeds!
3. Feature Rich : Google reader has got the necessary and the most important features, at least the ones which are most required and most used ones. The ones which are really not necessary are not there and that’s one more thing I like about it. It lets you export and import the subscription list. It can easily import OPML files but it exports in XML format (Not much difference). It allows you to group similar feeds in folder or tags. Automatic marking of feed items as read as you go through the list of items. Automatic Updates of the feeds and auto discovery of feeds is also there and makes life a bit easier. Shortcuts make the navigation of Google reader, quite easy and believe me, without shortcuts, it would have been hard to imagine Google reader.
4. Supports ATOM & RSS : Like most of the online services, it supports both types of Feeds i.e. RSS and ATOM.
5. Reading Trends : It shows you, your reading habits and the trend about which is the most updated feed and the ones which have not been updated from ages and accordingly lets you decide that which feeds you want to keep in your precious list of Feeds.
CONS of Google Reader :
1. No search engine : Can you imagine, a service of Google and still doesn’t have a search engine in it! But, alas that’s the case. Google reader, misses a search engine and that is one of the biggest drawback of Google reader.
To be honest, I feel that there is just one major drawback of Google Reader, It needs some cosmetic changes (according to few bloggers and small personalized changes. But, no real drawback apart from the Search feature.
Overall rating & views :
Google Reader is one of the best online feed readers. It just needs a search facility and it will be one complete suit (Although, there is a work around for the search feature and I’ll discuss it in the upcoming posts too) . It’s major factors are its interface and ease of navigation, both with the help of mouse and keyboard. That’s why it quickly became the choice of feed reader for most of us. I personally use Google reader and I’m all the way in love with this service.
Sponsors : A site which needs a shopping cart is best hosted on ecommerce web host. Look around for cheap dedicated server to have ample space. The company one should look out for is the one with many cisco certified employs such as 646-222. A wireless internet in this case can provide convenience in updating the site. To boost the traffic of the site employ ppc affiliate programs and other marketing tactics.

Did this headline caught your attention ? Well, if NO then No issues either (I know I’m not the best headline creator..he he), if Yes, then I’m sure you’ll love to read further about this. First of all, I would like to tell you that Minimo is a browser and this browser is for your Windows based pocket PC. It is one of the projects hosted at Mozilla’s website, but it is not owned by Mozilla Foundation (The community behind Firefox & Thunderbird).
Now, that you know a bit about minimo, then let me give a little more information about minimo….
This browser is capable of running Google Maps, Yes you read it right! It can run Google Maps and that means it supports Ajax. It has got the same old Firefox (or do I call Opera’s) feature and that is Tabbed browsing, has got Social Bookmarking, Rss Support and much more….
Well, I would call it Web 2.0 Mobile browser! The reason for that is, it has got the latest web 2.0 features in it and if you are using Windows Mobile based Pocket PC, then you should try it once and I’m sure you’ll fall in love with it.
Now, lets find out what’s common in Firefox, Thunderbird and Minimo :
One single thing which is common in these three applications, is that they all are based on the Mozilla Technology :)
Where Can I download Minimo ?
Alright, very nice question. You can go through Minimo’s project page and you can find download links and other information about Minimo.

I’m sure that there would have been times, when you would have wondered that what next should be done on the internet. You’ve downloaded movies, read the news, downloaded music, checked your email and what not, but still you want to do something, because you just don’t have anything else to do and you to pass your time, you want to use the internet connection. Am I wrong ? Haven’t you experienced anything like that ?
Well, atleast I’ve gone through this situation a lot and then I discovered the web! Well, with this statement, I mean that I started to use various toolbars which can suggest me various new websites and help me find new and interesting content of my taste. Let’s look at various toolbars :
1. StumbleUpon : Ok, all this was started by this company. StumbleUpon, which was recently in news as some PROs thought that Ebay will acquire Stumbleupon. Stumbleupon created a toolbar, which lets users select the topic of their taste and then displays various webpages, websites and all this is done with user input. You can suggest various sites, which you like and then vote in their favour or against those pages. This way, you’ll be able to get new pages and will be able to connect with people, who share same interest as you have.
The idea seemed to work and now most of the people love to use this service as not only, it shows various webpages, but now they are displaying interesting videos & photos too. I’ve really enjoyed many videos and found great articles and websites using this service.
As a blogger as well, you feel great if you get Stumbled upon, because it generates good traffic and mostly you’ll find that the traffic generated with Stumbleupon will give you regular readers and will increase your feed subscriber count.
2. Yoono : This French startup has got a good user base of 600,000 even though, it was not officially released yet. It was released in this Web 2.0 Expo. This works somewhat like Stumbleupon, however it gives you the suggestions on your searches too. So, you can get the recommended content and that related to your search term.Yoono has launched other features like Buzz It.
3. Google Toolbar : Well, this was a surprise by Google, when they launched this button for their toolbar, which suggests users various websites related to the search terms and according to the web history of your profile. Well, although it is not a toolbar as such, but it does qualify in this post, because this post is about discovering content and this button actually does the same.
Well, all in all all these three toolbars can help you find interesting content for you to read, view and share with others. This will not only, help you come out of boredom but it will also help you increasing the knowledge (provided that’s your interest).
Sponsors : Running a site has never been cheaper. From setting up a site to marketing it, the prices have hit rock bottom. The revolution is brought by big companies like godaddy, a web hosting gaint, who not only provide cheap web hosting services but you can also buy domains from them. Then to operate the site you obviously need a fast broadband connections, these can generally be found for free for a limited time. Marketing due to so much competition, has too become very cheap. You can find everything at all price ranges, from a bit more affective marketing such as ppc marketing to a more wide spread marketing like affiliate marketing to something more direct like email advertising.
