I'm looking for a change of web host. Could you please suggest me a good web host and feel free to post your Referral link in the comments. If you could also tell me that why you prefer that web host, then the deal may go in your favor ]:)

Just ensure that we are talking about normal hosting and not dedicated servers. VPS (I.e. Virtual Private Servers) are also fine. I just need a web host which has got the capabilities to run WordPress. So keep rolling your referral links in the comments and the reasons that why you prefer that web host.

HMmm, so you are looking to move away to another provider. Ok i got few but not tried, you can contact them.
try manashosting.com, gromohosting.com – it gives you the unlimited bw pack. else you can try some reseller man……
    Best of luck… :)

Try 50webs, Godaddy, Homestead,Awardspace, Google Apps. Spend a few minutes on my web blog for review of these services.

Ofcourse with Google Apps doesn’t allow ftp hosting etc so you cant host wordpress.. but there are plenty of options if you need an additional website ( i mean you can configure virtually unlimited sub-domains)

Hi, Mayank. I will create a web host review for you tonight. :)
Can you tell me which hosting you are using now??

@ Vaibhav : Thanks for the suggestions.

@ TEch 4 Novices : Google apps is good but only for static pages and not dynamic pages. I think GOdaddy is good, I’ll look into that. I’m hoping to see more options :)

@ Ken : I’ll be glad to see the host review. Well, I’m using computinghost at this time.

    Hi Mayank,
I think you are missing on few details as if you are looking for a cheap option too or all you are concerned about space/bw or for speed too.

Anyway, I think review by Ken may help you.

I can suggest you godaddy, dreamhost and dot5hosting – all better in one way or other.

I would suggest you to go for Bluehost. Its reliable and also good.

Blue host is good. My personal choice is hostbrains.

    1> reliable.
    2> customer support is good.
    3> affordable prices.
    4> on demand back up
6> You have their landline/cell numbs so you can call them up anytime of the day… I guess :)
7> owned by a friend of mine :).

If you recently had been to http://www.wishlost.com , you would have noticed that the servers were down. I’ve never had a problem with the host who is supporting wishlost either. Btw, wishlost is on gohindhi ..

I have hosting from more than 8 hosts, hostbrains and gohindi get my pesonal recommendation.

If you decide to go with any of the above mentioned, lemme know, will push across referral links ;).

    ~Gautam

PS: Welcome me back people .. my sites back live and kicking.

I would like to recommend my host here.

    I’m hosted with Site5

Here is the plus points I would say,

    1. Great customer support ( they are not outsourced :) Very friendly people)
    2. Reliable ( I didn’t have any downtime after hosting with them yet)
    3. Features ( you have lot of things to add up to your package)
    4. Great price ( not necessarily cheap but affordable)

This would give you an idea. You can checkout yourself.

whois.sc tells me that you are currently on Media Temple ? Isn’t MT a good hosting service ?

Do checkout Dreamhost. I shifted 6 months back and till now I’ve had no trouble with the service. Support also has been very good.

And if you were serious about the referral link here it is :)

@ Everyone : Thanks a lot for all your support and giving the idea about so many hosts.

Now, I would like to reveal the truth here :

I’ve already changed my host and moved over to Media Temple. I never mentioned in my post about my current host and thought that few of you will actually check the WHOIS records to find out my current host but only VENU did that and found out the secret!

The reason, why I wanted to know about the hosts was that, I wanted to create a post where I would have listed the most popular web hosts but Venu just took the surprise away :P

Thanks again for all the support and love you’ve shown towards ReviewSaurus….:)

    Ooops !!
I was hoping my referral link would be of some use :)

Anyway do let us know about your Media Temple Experience; Have heard a lot of good things about them.

Aren’t they charging 20$/month ? Or did you get hold of some discount coupon !

@ Andrew : It seems blue host is really popular amongst bloggers. Many others have suggested the same.

@ Pearl : Yeah you can say that commenting late actually helps, as you get to know the point of view of others….and also get safe from these kind of pranks :)

After MT, for quality and digg-proofing, ASmallOrange.com wins hands down.

I have read a lot of complaints about dreamhost, godaddy etc., but none for asmallorange.

they dont oversell, so the package looks small. but it is very worth.

good luck with MT, they’re the premium providers. even techcrunch is on MT! btw, did yo get any discount?
