Till the time I wasn’t earning money full time from blogging, I never took plagiarism seriously. I didn’t care if someone was stealing my content and posting it on their blogs. Luckily, not much content was copied from my blog.
But, recently I noticed a blog called TechBlogy (http://www.techblogy.com) which copied the content from my blog and was publishing on his own blog. Thanks to Shankar who actually told me that this guy is copying the content from our blogs (alas! but yes, he copied the content from his blog too).
First of all, I’ll request all of you to please go through this blog and see if he’s copied the content from your blog or not.
Now I would like to take you through the various steps which I took to fight against this guy :
1. Contacted him directly : Well, as the ProBlogger tells us that the first step is to contact the culprit directly. I did that by finding his contact information but only to be sad that this guy doesn’t care about this and didn’t respond to my request. Here’s the email which I’d sent to him :
Hello,
My name is Mayank Gupta and I’m the author of ReviewSaurus. I’m sorry to say this but it seems that you’ve copied the posts from my blog and posted them without giving any credit and also, you’ve done the complete copy and paste of the whole post. I would request you to please remove the posts or if you could make sure that you give the credit by just using small portion of the post.
I’m sure it will help you and your readers.
Thanks & Regards
Mayank
I waited for a day but there was no response, so decided that I’ll report this to Google Adsense team and will get his account banned and like this to Chitika too.

XPize is a GUI enhancer which gives a complete makeover to Windows XP or Windows 2003. XPize tries to enhance the GUI in such a fashion that it gives the look Windows Vista. It makes use of task switcher XP to give that not so Aero experience but still better than the old ALT+Tab dull looking feature. Let’s look at the PROS and CONS of XPize :
PROS of XPize :
1. Makes XP look almost like Windows Vista : XPize is good enough in its work that it almost makes XP look like Vista. The color scheme or you may say the theme of Vista is almost achieved (by almost I’ll say that it makes it look 90%). Any one will feel that you’ve switched to Vista but you can still relish yourself without worrying about the extra security measures which won’t help you run your favorite programs, until they become compatible with Vista.
2. Changes the Logon Screen & Boot Load screen, etc. : Apart from the default look, it also takes care of the Logon screen, boot load screen, screen saver, wallpaper (not big deal) but overall look gives the feel of updated version of Windows.
3. Lot of options while installing : XPize gives you lot of options while installation and some are really helpful. It gives you the option of simple installation or if you actually fall in love with this software then it gives you the option of patching the Windows Installation so that next time you install the windows, you don’t have to worry about installing XPize. It also creates the System Restore point to ensure that in case anything goes bad (remember, it’s a Beta version) then you can safely roll back to the settings which were working for you.
It also allows you to customize the un-installer in a way that you can restore all the settings like wallpaper, screen saver and similar things to ensure that you don’t lose the settings in case you decide to un-install it.
CONS of XPize :

One of my most famous article @ ReviewSaurus was “Use USB drive as RAM in Windows Vista“. However, I recently noticed that there are users who are experiencing problems of delayed resume time from hibernation or sleep state, when they enable the ReadyBoost feature.
Users have reported that it takes about 5-7 minutes for the computer to resume back from the hibernation or sleep state if the USB drive is plugged in but if they remove the USB drive then it resumes pretty fast. This has been reported mostly on Laptops.
Well, there is no actual explanation to this (as of now) but there are users who have reported the fix to this problem too. James Kendrick found the solution to this problem by editing couple of registry entries. Susan Bradley has mentioned various hot-fixes which will fix most of the problems related to Windows Vista at the time of resumption from sleep or hibernation mode.
