For this post, I’ll include the WordPress plug-ins/software without which my blogging journey would have been difficult. So here are the plug-ins, which all the way deserve more popularity :

1. Windows Live Writer : This software has to be the best product from Microsoft, not only it makes life simpler by letting us posts directly from the desktop but the way it handles the images by allowing simple effects like shadow effect to them. WLWplugins is a great blog which show cases some cool WLW’s plug-ins and tricks.

On this holiday season, I’ve decided that I’ll write a series (as I thank you note) of all those services, software without which my life would have been difficult. Apart, from that I’ll ensure that I’ll mention various resources of those services/softwares too.

I wish everyone a Happy Holiday season and have a great time ahead :)

Remember The Milk is an amazing service, when it comes to making you more organized. And, yes we all need that, you know that, you need it. So, don’t have the expression that nah! I don’t need a tool to organize my work!

Anyway, Remember the milk has recently launched a FireFox plugin which plugs a sidebar to GMail and allows you to easily to assign TO DOs and reminders. It integrates itself well with your GMail contacts and with Google Calendar and thus gives you a feeling that it’s a new feature of GMail itself.

gdirectory I’m sure the wound of getting hit by Google PageRank is still fresh in most of the bloggers. The blogger’s who used text-links-ads, pay-per-post, LinkWorth and other link related services. How can we forget that Google hit the PageRank slap to the link directories too!

Well, today I spotted a perfect example of Google’s hypocrisy and I.e. their own Google Directory. Google’s Directory stands tall at PageRank 8 and all the links posted in that directory have Do Follow links.

So, the question is that why didn’t Google punish their own directory, when will Google stop bullying other companies and publishers who are trying to earn money from other sources ?
