We all are fed up of SPAM blogs, the ones who just simply take excerpt from your blog posts and say that “we recently stumbled across a good post around blogosphere & there goes your post….” and link to your post and at the end make money doing nothing or rather ranking good in Google with the help of your hard work!
Keith thought of fighting against such blogs along with Ashish and me but unfortunately Keith’s tough schedule just didn’t help. Anyway, I think that as a full time blogger, I should pickup the task which was left in between.
I’ve been thinking about what exactly can be done about these blogs and after discussing it with Daniel, I’m still running short of ideas.

VoIPStunt is a VoIP service which lets you make cheap phone calls to normal PSTN (your regular landline phone) or mobile phones. I’m a huge fan of this service as it allows me to make free phone calls to lot of countries and I just have to charge it for a small amount but I get to make lot of free calls to various countries and make use of each and every penny I invest in this service or rather much more than that.
So, while I shifted to Linux, I noticed that VoIPStunt didn’t have Linux version and that did dishearten me. However, luckily they support SIP protocol (the protocol behind Google Talk) and that allowed me to configure VoIPStunt and use it on my Ubuntu!
Here’s what I did to ensure that I could use the dirt cheap services (and cool too) of VoIP Stunt :

Yahoo Pipes is a powerful tool and we all know about that and that it can help in creating lot of cool mash ups to help us. The good guys at Hover.in have organized the first un-conference on Yahoo Pipes and as it seems that every un-conference has to have the word CAMP in it and so does PipesCamp.
PipesCamp will be help on 23rd December in the blogging capital of India i.e. Chennai. I’m going to attend the the Camp for sure, what about you? I’ll say that if you are Yahoo Pipes enthusiast, if you want to know more about Yahoo pipes or if you are a blogger then you should really visit this camp and if at all you are in Chennai, then you can’t afford to miss this camp for sure!

Amarok is free audio player for Linux and an impressive one too! Amarok comes with KDE and I used it while using Kubuntu. I loved the audio player so much that even though, I shifted to Ubuntu and that I’m using Gnome desktop enviorment, I decided that I’ll install Amarok for playing the audio files.
