We all love Firefox and one of the reason for that is that it allows us to install various useful add-ons. However, those add-ons make Firefox a lot slower. I’ve got like 10 – 12 add-ons installed for Firefox and it almost takes 20 sec. to come up, when I try to load it at the first time of the day.

I’m a pro-blogger and the major revenue comes from advertisements, so I’m bound to love advertisements. However, I love advertisement when I’m on the consumer side too and the reasons for that are :
1. I get to know about new products.
2. I like to see the innovation and creativity in the advertisements (if it has some hot looking chick, then it gets even better).
3. They allow us to get most of the services for free.
Well, the real reason is the third one. Just imagine that how many web services are free because they are ad-supported. Without ads, we would have paid for all those services and I’m sure you wouldn’t like that at all.
Till this time we had free and paid games but generally the free games were never of Good quality and the ones which were paid carry a hefty price tag with them.
However, it seems that soon all that will be history as WildTangent (a gaming portal) is going to release a new platform called Orb where people will be able to play games for free and this will be possible because they’ll display commercials before each game session.
According to Webware, two gaming companies Sierra Online & THQ have already joined the platform and I’m sure that soon there will be more and more companies who’ll be following their path.

The Most Advanced News Site On The Planet! Who can claim this kind of statement ? Any guesses ? Well, the answer is "A startup". Only a startup can claim this kind of statement and why they’ll do so and yes you are right! To gain the attention of main stream news & bloggers.
NewsPond is one such startup which claims itself as the most advanced news site on the planet. Well, what makes them think this way, is out of my understanding. Here are few reasons for this kind of statement from me :
1. They fail to provide any RSS feeds : Are they thinking that people won’t come to their site if they’ll subscribe to the RSS feeds ? I’ll rather see that happen to my blog, it’s always beneficial to have subscribers in longer run, so my suggestion to NewsPond is to provide the RSS feeds.
2. What exactly are they offering : Mashable compared them from Digg and Techmeme, well it’s fine if it’s compared from TechMeme but Digg, well give me a break! Digg is all about user submitted stories and NewsPond works like TechMeme as it takes stories from specific sources and then ranks them according to the amount of link back it’s getting around the web.

As most of you must be knowing that I used to have two active blogs, one which you are reading and the other one was TipsoSaurus. However, I thought that the purpose of TipsoSaurus was to provide tips and tricks on computers, so why not provide them on ReviewSaurus itself!
Well, after this devilish idea came in my mind, I decided to go for it however the bigger trouble was that what will I do to ensure that all the posts gets transferred over to ReviewSaurus from TipsoSaurus and that too without losing the SEO effect.
Here are the steps which I did to ensure that everything went on smoothly :
Steps in TipsoSaurus wordpress installation -
1. Deleted all the categories and only kept the default category.
2. Exported the posts, comments, custom fields, categories through WXR file (extended RSS).

Flock is an excellent social browser based on Mozilla Firefox’s code and which uses the Gecko rendering engine (the same which is used by Firefox). Flock team has released the latest version (beta) of Flock and now the browser stands at Version 1.1 d (beta).
Here are my first impressions of Flock 1.1 d (Beta) -
Navigation & Interface : The interface is similar to the older version and hardly any changes have been made as far as the navigation is concerned.
New Social Features : The new social feature in Flock is that it integrates Yahoo! Mail and GMail too. You can send the webpages with a click of a button to your friends. Apart from integrating the web mail services, the friend feed shows you the activity of your friends across various social networks or social services which are supported by Flock (Twitter, Facebook, Flickr are some of the examples).
