Google launches Docs & Spreadsheets!
It seems that Sergery Brin’s recent advice to the Google engineer’s has started working and is helping Google in a much better way. Sergery suggested the engineers to stop developing new applications and instead asked them to work on existing applications and asked them to improve them and integrate them together.
We’d seen many and many applications from Google in the last year and till the mid of 2006 and it seemed that Google will shift all the buzz and various users from other companies to itself, with every new product launch.
But, now it seems that Google engineers have started to work on the existing applications and have started to improve them. Google Reader & Google Groups are just two examples, however, we can always say that they have worked on Blogger as well and came out with such a drastic change.
After all these changes, Google engineer’s have come up with a new and a very big change where in they’ve combined Writely and Google Spreadsheets and have come up with a combined application called Docs & Spreadsheets.
The major change is that now writely has got completely different look than the old one and has got more of the Google spreadsheet’s look. More can be checked at the Official Docs & Spreadsheets Blog.
