Have you ever used Google Alerts? For those who have not then, let me have the honour of explaining it to you. Google Alerts is a service which alerts a user about the latest news related to any keyword and sends the email to the user with all the news which have appeared in the search result or latest news related to that keyword.

It can be really handy for all the users who want to know specifically about a topic and are researching about any topic. For e.g. I keep alerts for Google & Gmail to keep myself get the latest information about these service and that too without going on to Google.com and then searching for these terms or even without going on google news to search for these. The service exteremly handy and can help bloggers, researchers a lot.

However, the service is only specific to emails only and only sends the email to the users, I think it will be really nice if they could allow users to use it as RSS Feed instead of filling up their mailboxes. I think they must create the RSS for each Keyword and then let the user subscribe to them and they can always keep the option of sending the email too. I am sure most of the users will love to subscribe to the feeds rather than recieving emails. What do you think what will you prefer?

I just set this program up that will translate google alerts to rss feeds. You sign up for the alert using the address provided and then when there are alerts there is an rss feed. It is in early beta so write to the alerts email address if you have problems, ideas or suggestions.
