Long back, I’d written that how you can run linux (ubuntu) in windows environment, now it’s time to run gOS on Windows. I decided to review gOS and I’ll post the review on ReviewSaurus, however I thought that it will be nice to write a post here, where I’ll explain the procedure of how I ran gOS on windows Xp.
In the earlier post, I’d shown that how you can use VMware Player to run the Linux on Windows environment however, it required a little bit of work as you can’t create virtual hard disk with VMware Player.

I believe that one of the most small and useful feature of Windows Taskbar is Quick Launch toolbar. You can easily place shortcuts of most used applications, folders etc. so that they are just 1 click away from you!
However, when you are a heavy user of the computer and you add more and more shortcuts to quick launch, then you’ll realize that the space for the taskbar gets less. There are many documents which are old and important but are of no use at this time and we just want to delete them , however we fear that they should not reach to prying eyes! There are many ways through which someone can recover a file or document easily even if you remove that file from the recycle bin!
However, there are many software which can easily help you in removing the files completely to a level that they can’t be recovered at all, even with the help of any data recovery software.
File Shredder is such free utility, which wipes the files beyond recovery and it lets you choose between 5 different shredding algorithms (each powerful than the previous one but slow too).
It also lets you easily wipe the whole free space from the hard-disk thus ensuring that no one can ever recover any previously deleted data. It’s one of the must have privacy tools for your computer.

Malware are mostly installed on to your computer through Internet. It can be any website (even the legitimate ones) which can potentially harm your computer. Well, you may ask me that how come legitimate site affect your system and here’s my answer in an example :
Websites run ads and many websites depend on ad-networks to manage the ad-inventory of their websites. Now, imagine that some ad-network sells the ad to one of the advertiser which potentially may be distributing such a malware or may be because of some compromised web application (some hacker may have infected their website) and once you click on that ad you have possible chance of getting infected!
