It’s time for a blog contest and I thought that it will be even great if I can mix it up with Guest blogging too. So, what do we’ll call this type of contest, Guest Blog Contest :). Coming back to contest, its rules and the prize (I’m sure everyone loves that part).

First of all, lets check out what you can get out of this contest :

1. License of NewsGator’s FeedDemon (Costs $ 29.95).
2. Link back from the blog posts of this PageRank 6 blog with your desired Anchor text.

You can enter in the Guest blog contest by two ways and they are :

1. Write the review : The first way of entering the contest is that you can write the review of your favorite software and send it to me (contest@reviewsaurus.com) and I’ll publish it over here at ReviewSaurus with some minor editing (if required). You can mention the link of your blog or website in the post as well. You can write as many reviews you want and send it to me (every time you’ll earn a link back to your blog or website & will increase the chances of winning…I’ll tell you how).

2. Writing the review of this blog : The second way of entering the contest is by writing the review of this blog (be it positive or negative) in a dedicated post which will link to this blog homepage with the anchor text “Free software” and link to this blog post with the anchor text “Guest blog contest” Here’s an example of what I want :

ReviewSaurus – The Techie Dino! is a blog which provides reviews of Free software & shareware as well. His blog is good and he will link to you if you participate in Guest blog contest your desired text…whatever you want to put in the blog post.

Since, I’m asking you to link back to me with my desired anchor text, I’ll offer you the same and so, whenever you write the review just email me with the URL & Desired anchor text along with the link of the review and I’ll be able to link back to you.

OK, Some important information & the tip for winning the contest :

The contest will end on May 31, 2007 & the results will be declared on June 1, 2007. The winner will be decided by poll. Now, because it’s based on poll, your chances of winning the License key increases as every software review will increase your name count and the chances of getting picked also increases accordingly.

Just in case you have any queries, please feel free to post them in comments and I’ll love to answer your queries :)
