Major Change In ReviewSaurus!
Although, I’ve been a fan of Google Inc. and its various products. And, as most of you must be knowing that I was using Blogger.Com as my blog publishing tool but now, I am using self hosted Wordpress blogging software as the platform.
There were quite a few reasons due to which I’d switch over to wordpress as the blog publishing software and one of them is that finally now I’ve got paid hosting. For the regular readers, earlier I was hosted on a free web hosting service provider (SHOCKED!), the service was absolutely great and I hardly got any downtime or any big problem from the provider. It was only once when I faced a problem with the host but that too was my own fault and not the web hosts problem.
Just because of the quality of the service, I’ve chosen them as my paid hosting only. Earlier, my site was hosted @ trap17.com and now it is hosted at the http://www.computinghost.com servers. The company is same only the sites are different.
Another reason was that, blogger has been a great blog publishing service but it failed to provide some of the features which are required in proffessional blogging. Although, Wordpress has some limitations as well (mostly, template editing) but still the power of the blogging can be felt only with Wordpress.
I will be improving the blog and although, I’ve done enough testing before making the switch but still visitors may experience many changes in future (I am just not perfect).
