Has this ever happened to you that you re-formatted your computer and then realized that you can’t find the driver CD at all ? It has happened to me, however I quickly found a solution to it. Here’s what I did :

1. Connected to the Internet.
2. Downloaded CPU-Z (Review of CPU-Z or CPUZ)
3. Found out the model of the motherboard and then downloaded all the drivers from the motherboard manufacturer’s website.

However, I was lucky at the first place in this whole scenario and that was Windows XP, fortunately detected the drivers for my LAN card and that helped in downloading all the necessary files.

Another solution to this problem is that we can make the back up of all the drivers and skip all those above given steps and pain of wasting time. You can simply download Driver Collector, which is only a 20 Kb utility and lets you make the backup of the installed drivers.
