Create global shortcuts for fast accessing of programs!

I’m one of the guy who prefers using Keyboard for most of my tasks and I try to avoid the mouse as much as I can and for that I make use of shortcuts as much as I can. We can easily make use of Global shortcuts to ensure that whenever we use those shortcuts in our computer, the desired task get completed. At least, opening of certain programs is one of the thing which I love to do without touching the mouse.

I’ll show you that how you can open notepad pretty fast in windows and you can then follow the same steps with other most used programs by you.

1. Go to Start->All Programs->Accessories
2. Right click on Notepad and select Properties.
3. Under shortcut, enter any shortcut combination you want (as an e.g. put CTRL+SHIFT+1) and then click OK.

Now, when ever you’ll press CTRL, SHIFT & 1 together, you’ll have Notepad in front of you. Like this you can create many shortcuts for your favorite program and save a little bit of frustration.

Apart from that you can use ENSO from Humanized and turn your caps lock key into a powerful launcher.
