How I got my blog indexed by Google in 1 day!

When I first got into blogging, I didn’t have much idea about how can I get my blog (ReviewSaurus – Free software reviews)indexed by Google fast and it took quite some time for me to get my blog indexed by Google. Now, that I have a fair amount of idea about search engine optimization (I’m not a pro in SEO), I managed to get my this blog (TipsoSaurus – Tips and tricks for computers) crawl by GoogleBot in 1 day only. It may not be a very difficult task for many pro’s but I hope that new people will find this tips helpful. Here’s what I did to get this blog indexed fast :

1. Google Webmaster Tools : Remember, Google is your friend and so, don’t forget to tell it that you’ve started a new blog and that it should visit your blog. For that, make use of Google Webmaster tools and submit your website or blog address.

(The blog was launched on 29^th and check when GoogleBot Crawled this blog. The very same day)

2. Using Sitemap : Don’t forget to generate the sitemap of the blog and submit it to the Google Webmaster Tools. Also, keep in mind that you link to that sitemap from your webpages, that way Google will have no chance of missing it.

3. Comment on blogs with Do Follow or Top Commentator : If you know any blog which has Do Follow applied on comments then go ahead and leave some meaningful comments on those blogs. If you know a blog which has Top Commentator plugin installed then you can leave some meaningful comment on those blogs too and get into the list of Top commentator as you’ll get a link back, if you crack in that list.

Hi, Mayank! I actually know how to make our blog enter to the google index in approx 48 hours or less! :)
You only need to share your wealth of knowledge or stomp your dino feet at ezinearticles.com. Google index it quickly.
The best ever one is using Squidoo. Google love squidoo and will follow your lens’ link to your blog.
The Do follow also a nice tips, Mayank. That’s why I held this meme for 3 times. ;p

Nice tips Mayank. It is fairly similar to what I do. But you know me, I don’t fret that much about getting included in SE. (Nothing to back it up – just that I am lazy :P )

Ken Xu, as far as the relation between Squdoo and Google is concerned, I did write about it when I learned about Google acting against Squidoo.

@ Vyoma : I know that how lazy you are. C’mon how can you be lazy, you maintain 4-5 blogs and that too with regular content. Isn’t that more than enough to prove that you are not lazy at all.

I have had several sites google indexed in less than one day simply by using wordpress( google loves it) and adding some additional ping services to the writting options…

I am having a really hard time getting Google to index me even though I have uploaded sitemaps, pinged to Google and other sites. Any suggestions? (I would be grateful!)

I registered my domain name yesterday, and today it has already been listed in Google.

Here’s what I did:

1- I went to Yahoo answer, and answer some questions with my resource box linking to my newly created site.
2- I established a wordpress.com blog
3- I link to it from my blogspot blogs
4- I have 1 pr4 website with some pages listed in Google, and link from it to the site.

I got my site indexed in one day using the same method as above, but with a little tweaking.

In addition to Webmaster Tools and Blog Commenting, I went to a forum that I have posted a lot on (1400+ posts) and put a link to the site in my signature. I also got one of my indexed squidoo lens and linked it to my site.

Bam! I was indexed. (I think the time was something around 20 hours).

Thanks for these nice tips. Actually I'm very frustrated because some of my important posts are not indexed by google even after months. I have also submitted sitemap to the Google Webmaster Tools, but not working for me. Hoping your tips will work for me.

i am being givens links by 3 search engines but not google,and i use blogger !
