freenet-project

There are many countries who apply internet censorship for e.g. China, UAE etc. and that was something we all knew about, however news are coming up that AT&T (U.S. based Internet service provider) is going to filter the content and may block various sites. As seen at Download Squad :

AT&T is reportedly talking to technology companies and the RIAA/MPAA regarding the implication of digital fingerprinting techniques at the networking level

Well, the best way to fight internet censorship is by using The Free Network project. It’s an open-source project and it lets you publish and obtain the information from the internet without the fear of censorship. It keeps the packets completely private and anonymous.

Communications by Freenet nodes are encrypted and are "routed-through" other nodes to make it extremely difficult to determine who is requesting the information and what its content is.

I certainly believe that this project will be used a lot in future as more and more countries are trying to apply the internet censorship and Free Network Project is a slap on their faces!

What do you think about internet censorship and the steps which have been taken against it by The Free Network Project ?
