Long back, I’d written that how you can run linux (ubuntu) in windows environment, now it’s time to run gOS on Windows. I decided to review gOS and I’ll post the review on ReviewSaurus, however I thought that it will be nice to write a post here, where I’ll explain the procedure of how I ran gOS on windows Xp.

In the earlier post, I’d shown that how you can use VMware Player to run the Linux on Windows environment however, it required a little bit of work as you can’t create virtual hard disk with VMware Player.

Anyway, This time it becomes really easy as you just have to download VirtualBox, a virtualization software and install it.

The only thing which you need here is the ISO file, which you can download from gOS’ website and when you run the Virtual box, it just takes care of everything. Follow up the wizard and that’s it.

You’ll have gOS running on your windows like charm!
