SearchCamp Day 2 : 100 times better than First Day!

With heavy heart, I decided that I will be going back to attend the second day of the Search Camp. I arrived two hours late to the conference and didn’t get enough chance to see what exactly was going the morning session. However, It was the after noon session which made things look really better.

First of all, it was one of my blogger friend Mani Karthik who enlightened everyone with some SEO tips for bloggers!

Here are tips, which he mentioned :

1. Suggests to use self hosted blogs, as it gives more and more control and helps more in SEO.
2. Suggests wordpress - Customizable, allows to use widgets, wordpress is SEO friendly.
3. Duplicate content is bad for SEO & talks about supplemental index.

He did make the session interactive and it was fun and knowledgable session. At least, that’s what maximum people were expecting from the Search Camp.

After that there was a session done by a BlackHat SEO guy and believe me it was one the most fun filled session of the SearchCamp and everyone was just about bursting out of laughs. The guy decided that he won’t be coming in front of the audience and asked the Guys from Google to close the eyes and ears!

He also ensured that he didn’t answer any questions from the audience by making blunt statements like “Don’t disturb me!” &”No questions please!” And finally he did make his presence in front of the audience and told everyone that he’s actually not a Black-Hat-SEO guy rather he’s one of the White Hat SEO guy.

Then came the beautiful part of the search camp and that was question and answer section. People discussed various aspects of SEO and discussed the problems faced by each and every webmaster!

Overall, Day 2 was fun, informative and full of interactivity. I’m glad that I joined the day 2 otherwise I would have missed big time. To sum up, I’ll say big thanks to the The Knowledge Foundation for organizing the event, big cheers to you guys!
