BlogJet is one of the best blogging software with numerous options and great stability. However, by default BlogJet doesn’t give the option of making use of the FTP upload feature. If you setup the blog by automatic detect settings then it will make use of the blogging platform’s (WordPress, drupal, B2 etc.) uploading feature and will not offer to upload the files (images or videos) through FTP.
Now, there is a simple and manual way of making use of the FTP upload feature and you can follow these steps to achieve that :
1. When it asks you to create the account then simply select Configure Manually.
2. Choose WordPress (only WordPress), from the blog service.
3. Fill in the details of the blog and then provide the user name and password.
4. VOILA! It asks for the FTP account settings and then you can fill this information.
That will help you in uploading the images, videos easily through the FTP connection instead of making use of the WordPress’s default uploading feature.

Nice tip.. I’ve been considering whether to use blogjet or stick to windows live writer
I’ll say that if you are happy with Windows Live Writer then stick with it. If you faced problems like frequent crashes then make a switch because I’ve not seen Blogjet crash for even once. When it comes to features, BlogJet and Winows Live Writer are almost same.
I hope this helps and thanks for the visit, hope to see you again :)
First of all, congrats to you Mayank for your new blogging venture. All the best :)
