Money Waster of the day : Windows ShortCuts 2

  10 Jan 2008 by ReviewSaurus | , , ,

After getting inspired from DownloadSquad’s Time Waster of the Day, I thought that I’ll publish some feature of the day myself. And I started looking at various available options amongst the blogosphere. Found out that Time waster of the day is quite popular and featured download is even more popular because of LifeHacker.

windows-shortcuts So, thought that I’ll start something new and just then I came across a screensaver called Windows Shortcuts 2. I thought that it’ll be cool to have such a screensaver until I realized that this screensaver is paid!

Thanks to Try before you buy option, I downloaded the screensaver only to dishearten myself. It’s does nothing but rotates some low quality images as background and on top of it, it shows you the common windows shortcuts like ALT+F4 can be used for closing the open window, ALT+Tab can be used to switch between two windows!

Now, I think that it really is the money waster of the day because no one spends lot of time in front of the screensaver and instead its better to use the computer more and you’ll learn things automatically. I’ll rather create my own screensaver using various free softwares; here’s is the list of 8 software through which you can create your own customer screensavers.

Apart from that, I’ll suggest you to instead go ahead and read various blogs (for a start I can suggest you TipsoSaurus :P) and learn computer slowly but steadily and you’ll learn much more than what you’ll learn through that screensaver.

Anyway, if at all you are interested in burning your pocket for around $ 14.95 then feel free to buy it from the maker of the website ; Present-Day. You’ll find some more painful screensavers to look at.
