Zoho had a utility service, which monitors your websites up time and unfortunately, I didn’t even know about it. However, that service is now out of beta and allows users to setup the websites, so that it can check the uptime of the service and lets you decide that your current webhost is good or not ?

The site can be extremely helpful as there are downtimes, when you may be sleeping and you never know when you can get miss a good important client or may be a long time visitor or reader for your website.

Site 24X7 tells you all about it and then helps you in making sure that your blog is hosted @ the correct webhost or not? The service is free for the users however, the free account only, allows you to monitor 2 websites only and in case you have more website requirement, then you can always look for the better option of upgrading the account.

The good thing about this service is that, it notifies you through SMS as well. So, just in case you are not in front of the computer, you get the notification on your mobile phone. So, it is certainly a nice service and one must use it to, ensure that you don’t miss out big things because of the downtime.
