ReviewSaurus – Technology Rocks!

Recent report from Red Herring says that Google was able to crash the party time of the new startups like Zoho, Vyew & Smartsheet. The report says that these startups impressed a lot but says that when the Google introduced Google Docs then the party of these startups ended.

Well, I don’t think so because Google Docs is nothing but combination of Writely & Spreadsheets and I’ve always felt that other startups are much better than Writely & Spreadsheets. We can take example of Zoho Sheet & Writer and both these online services are way ahead of Google Docs. Zoho launches the updates regularly for most of its products and comes out with major updates now and then but I’ve not heard of any major change in Writely & Spreadsheets.

However, the only factor due to which Google can be considered better is that they have got a very big fan fare with them and the followers who will not think of anything apart from Google and these startups have to fight just against this and nothing else. What do you think, will these startups will be able to compete with giants like Microsoft & Google or will they merge with these companies or may be will start working together to fight against these giants?
