Zoho gets better with Microsoft Office!

  02 Dec 2006 by ReviewSaurus

Zoho has rolled out three cool updates and has become more and more powerful and better than most of its competitors. They have combined simple tricks with logical thinking and have been able to provide user friendly and useful tools to its current and many more future users. The first update is major and gives you the power of creating mashed products as well as they have released the API’s and thus all you developers have the chances of showing your creativity and programming skills.

In the second update, Zoho has rolled the plugin for Microsoft Office as well and thus giving the option of storing and importing the documents directly from Microsoft office applications. This will in turn increase lots of usage of Zoho applications and will reveal the difference between the two products. It is a fact that Zoho office can’t be compared with Microsoft Office but still the way Zoho is improving and rolling out updates, there will be a day when Microsoft may reduce the prices of this huge package, to reduce the competition.

The last but not the least and another update which will be called as the best and most intelligent update and that is the NOT SO DESKTOP VERSION OF ZOHO APPLICATIONS. Now, it is the desktop version of zoho applications and let me tell you why it is NOT SO either. It is called desktop version because it gives the ability of using the zoho applications directly from a dedicated windows just like normal softwares and allows drag and drop also!! And not so desktop version because it requires an Internet connection and simply uses the engine of Internet Explorer to display the Zoho webpage in a dedicated window. But, still the drag and drop feature is impressive.

All in all, Zoho has impressed lots of users and as reported to Techcrunch by a Zoho employee that number of users have increased from 100,000 users to 150,000 users after the release :)
