		<description>Aren&#039;t they completely different? I thought the idea of Prism is so that you can run existing web apps more like real apps on your desktop. AIR seems to be more like an environment in which you can build apps which then can do things that regular web apps that run in a browser could not.

My personal opinion is that there is a niche for both as they both do different things and do what they set out to do well.

(Disclaimer: I use Prism to run Vitalist on my desktop, but I have not knowingly used an AIR application yet.)</description>
