AlienGUIse-logo When it comes to look and feel, there is really no end to the number of softwares that can lead to complete bouleversement of the looks of your Desktop. AlienGUIse is one of them. But then there are certain aspects that put it apart from others. We will plunge deeper into them but before that a few lines of general information:

AlienGUIse is a theme manager which can manage theming suites that transform almost everything visible on your desktop right from your wallpaper to the windows to the cursors. It is a product from Alienware which works on MyColours technology from Stardock. It thus needs certain Stardock products already installed on your system in order to function.

Why dino loved the Alien

1. It is a one stop solution to most of your look and feel requirements

2. The inbuilt themes, especially the Xenomorph theme is really eye catching

3. Its damn easy to use

4. Supports a wide variety of suites that can be downloaded from http://www.wincustomize.com

Why Dino might chuck the Alien

1. Like all other look and feel softwares, Alienware feeds heavily on system resources.

Overall Review and Views

For a look and Feel software, good looks should be the only important parameter to be assessed upon. In that respect, Alienware’s AlienGUIse is a frontrunner. I would say you actually need to use this stuff once before you form any opinions. As far as my opinion goes,I found it really cool.

Truly amazing. Some of the themes almost give a “vista” feelto an xp pc. The only problem I’ve personally experienced is that when I uninstalled the programme, some of my icons had not changed. Apart from that, great!
