Well, Bad of google that they are not allowing the use of API anymore, Kudos to you that you are trying to come up as an alternative to them.

Didn&#039;t know about the shortcut feature and that deskbar feature will surely come pretty handy!</description>

Google doesn&#039;t provide a search web service API anymore (http://code.google.com/apis/soapsearch/reference.html)
The terms of service of the second Google AJAX Search API do not permit to integrate their search results into a client application.
Unfortunately not always an API is really open.

&gt; Shortcut key required

Actually there is a shortcut: Win + S opens the browser with the FAROO search interface.
Of couse that little search box you mentioned would be neat. We will probably implement a taskbar search box (deskbar).
