File recovery is a software that helps you regain lost data by restoring files that were deleted by you from your drives. It can recover accidentally deleted files from various storage media like floppy, USB flash drive, Data Cards etc and supports all windows compatible file systems like FAT12, FAT16, FAT32, NTFS, NTFS5 etc.

Imagine if you delete a set of files from your disk drive deeming them unnecessary only to realize at a later stage that they did have some significant worth. And since there is no “Undo” possible after emptying your recycle bin, you might have some seriously contrite moments following. This is exactly when a tool like File recovery can come handy and save you some repentance.

File recovery when tested by me provided a long list of files that I did not know when and how had been deleted from my system along with those that I had deleted deliberately to test it. So there is no doubt that the software is reliable and efficient under normal conditions. However do not expect it restore files that have been deleted using a secure file deletion tool.

More over, I think they need to improve on the interface. It’s just that the interface made them lose some of the points but overall it’s a nice and useful software.
