I really dont think Freemusiczilla is a good tool, it hasn’t many features, you have to look for the music you want, it hasn’t ID3 tags….You should try Videoraptor, I find it very useful, it downloads videos and musics for you, has ID3 tags, it is also a converter : http://audials.com/en/audials_one/download_music/index.html

@ Thilak : Well, They do pay royalties for streaming music but they don’t pay royalties for people downloading them on their computers. It’s only for live streaming and not for recording them.

If someone records something from these stations then the station has the right to case you guys and not the recording industry directly.

@ Ram : Well, its not funny that I’m relating this to the Thomas story. I’m really talking sense here :) Every internet user is a pirate in some way or the other. Trust me, just look around and with current rules, you’ll realize that we are criminals in one way or the other.

Its funny that you relate to Thomas story, you are not sharing the files by just downloading music from internet. If this is the case then i suspect majority of internet users will become pirates according to you

This piece of software had to come out sooner or later. I wonder how the recording industry will respond to this. Probably, they’ll just go after sites like Last.fm or Pandora this time.

But don’t they pay royalties for streaming music? If so, what’s wrong in saving them to your hard drive? Wouldn’t this be same as recording your local radio station?
