Orkut now supports five Indian Lanugages!

Orkut now supports five Indian languages. So, if you know Hindi or if you are from southern part of India then you can easily send scrap in your language of your preference.
The supported languages are :
1. Hindi
2. Telugu
3. Tamil
4. Kannada
5. Malyalam
It’s really good to see that now Google is thinking more and more about the Orkut platform. Just few months back, it felt like Orkut will always have that tag Beta in it as the designer and coders at Google for this project are on off! However, Beta in the Orkut logo looks like it’s at the right place as all the coders are back at work :)

Ah. Now I can scrap my friends in Kannada. :)
Not sure how much it will sway me back to Orkut though – shifted to FaceBook recently inspite of the fiasco they have ended themselves in.

Cool feature, I can now scrap in Malayalam, but you need to install the font first.

@ Nirmal :No you don’t need to install any font! The reason for that is that it is UTF-8 and it looks just fine without the need of that particular font :)

@ Rajesh : Orkut is still the most popular and will remain the most popular social network, as they are now working on new features plus they are maintaining the simplicity which they’ve had all this time :)

Well, Facebook is good but unfortunately all those invitations I get to install the application is just bugging. It always keeps me away from using facebook.
