There are cases when your computer gets slow or locks up because of a particular application because of high CPU usage or because a particular application hangs while doing a heavy task. Well, now you can easily avoid these kind of situations by making use of Process Lasso.

Process Lasso automatically adjusts the allocation of CPU cycles and lowers the priority of the application which may be using excessive CPU cycles. It gives priority to the applications which are running in the foreground and thus ensures that any background application doesn’t waste the useful system resources.

Apart from that you can manually set the priority of the programs (well, you can do that with Windows Task Manager too). If you are using a computer with multiple processors then you can also assign applications to processor of your choice.

The software is extremely light on system (at least, it doesn’t need itself) and even though there are two applications which run, it only takes up around 5 Mb of RAM.
