Rajesh, in terms of how it compares to XOOPS and other CMS - it is quite difficult to talk in terms of a feature matrix.  (One where you keep all CMSes at the top and different features at the left in each row, and keep ticking or scoring at each cell).

This is so, because Drupal is designed to have an altogether different architecture.  In terms of use right out of the box, you can say that the present versions do not fare that well when compared to other CMS.  But in other terms, like what you can do with it and how flexible it is, I think Drupal will fair better.

The learning curve for any designer of Drupal is a daunting task - once you overcome that, it becomes a powerful tool in the tool box of a web-app/site designer.</description>
