Review of SpaceTime - Flip tabs like windows vista!

  03 Jul 2007 by ReviewSaurus

Spacetime beta 3dWindows Vista has one of the most popular feature and that is the way it allows you to flip the open windows in 3d way with the help of Aero technology. Now, it’s possible to do the same when it comes to browsing the web. SpaceTime is the first ever browser which lets you to view the pages in tabs and allows you to go through them giving 3 dimensional experience.

Not just that, it allows you to search and navigate through various web and images search done across various integrated search engines.

Features of SpaceTime :

1. First ever 3d browser with 3d search & 3d tabbed browsing.
2. Uses Internet Explorer’s rendering engine.
3. Makes the navigation quite appealing to the eyes and easy with the help of mouse wheel, keyboard shortcuts etc.

Overall rating & Views :

It is under beta so we can expect more features in near future. But, at this point of time, the focus seems to be only on how to make it look better in 3D navigation. But, to be honest the browser looks cool and hip but nothing more than that at this point of time. It is more of a fun utility than a productive utility.

Unlike Flip3D which is fun and useful, I found SpaceTime to just be a nothing-better-to-do boredom toy. Something that you’d mess about with if you had nothing better to do.

Because of the use of IE engine, it has IE’s bugs.
