How to run Linux applications in Windows!
There is one linux application which I really like and unfortunately unlike most of other Linux applications (the ones which are of some standard), is not available for Windows. Amarok music player is that application. Anyway, I love that software a lot but couldn’t run it on Windows.
But not any more! andLinux is the application which will help me in running this application without any problem. andLinux is a software which is based on Ubuntu and which allows you to run Linux natively in Windows 2000 based systems (Windows 2000, XP, Vista, 2003 ; 32 bit versions only).
Why Envy Vista when Windows XP can get AERO effect!
Vista may have its patrons. But I am certainly not one of them and TopDesk has increased my reasons. One really likable feature in Vista is Window Flip (AERO). It is certainly eye catching and gives the desktop more 3d look. But then there’s nothing that’s not possible on XP.

Windows Vista can’t connect to Internet but XP can!
Well, one of my post has been used as a resource to fix up the internet problems and not only that post has been of help to others but it has also helped me in quite a few ways. Recently, there was one of the reader who were facing a problem in which all the other computers in her home were working fine except the one which had windows vista on it.
Well, no logic of mine could help her out and so she decided to contact the support and found out that a firmware update of the wireless router did the trick and the connection started working for her on that Vista computer too.
There is a knowledge base article for this too, where Microsoft has given solution to a problem where Windows Vista can not connect to certain routers.
