CrossLoop has announced it’s monetization strategy and one of the most impressive work I’ve ever seen in the remote screen sharing market. There are various remote screen sharing software and services and they all tend to charge you for using their service. However, CrossLoop has come up with a different model altogether, where it lets you earn money out of it!
CrossLoop has released the marketplace where help seekers can go ahead and find a technician and pay them the price which has been set up by the technician in return of the service provided by the technician. After releasing the profiles, it seemed a little certain that crossloop will go in this direction, when it will come to making money out of this service.
Technicians can create profile and then get ratings from the people they are helping and that will help them in getting more and more orders from the market place as they build their authority in their particular area of expertise.
I myself was a technician and worked in tech support for HP and DELL, so I can say that this particular option will definitely attract lot of technicians, who are actually working for peanuts and are not getting paid for what exactly they deserve. CrossLoop not only gives them the chance to earn their share of money but also helps them in building the reputation amongst the community and that can certainly be more important in an overall carrier growth.
I’m sure that this will become a huge hit amongst various countries where outsourcing is booming like anything (Read : India) and many guys working in tech support would make use of the profiles and marketplace as well.
Apart from that, I would like to pitch once again that I’m still waiting for the Mac OS X version of CrossLoop!
There are many tools that do this but CrossLoop is one of the best!
@Syahid - thank you very much!!
@Mayank - your pitch is being heard and hopefully we will surprise you sooner rather than later!
Thanks again to all of you from CrossLoop!
