Mandriva 2008 is out on web!
Mandriva 2008 is now available for downloading on its official site. New version is entirely different from the old versions. Most prominent feature is the cutting-edge 3D-accelerated desktop. Mandriva 2008 is blessed with other features like KDE 3.5.7 and new GNOME 2.20 and a solid kernel 2.6.22.9 with fair scheduling support
You can download Mandriva from here.
Here are few screenshots of the Mandriva 2008 from PhornoLinux, for more screenshots please visit PhornoLinux.

Really nice release with good feature. But yet I love Ubuntu. Because i feel Ubuntu will be more comfortable for everyone like how Windows is :).

I was a kubuntu fan for some time but ‘upgraded’ to mandriva. Its too good and evertything works. Of course u need to download it (i used the free version) and open up the backport repositories to give u access to everything including proprietory drivers FREE!!!
I didnt like ubuntu cause of GNOME. KDE rocks man and with mandriva…its rocks double.
it is also equally comfortable for windows users.
