For those of you who don’t love to play around with the HTML codes and want to add images, videos and ads ; can take a sigh of relief as Triggit is trying to provide an easy solution to this. It’s a new service which lets you make changes to your web pages with ease and believe me, it works like magic.
First we need to paste a simple code into our blogging platform and then we are ready to edit the content from a toolbar in the browser window only in WYSIWYG style. It doesn’t require the use of any downloads, access to FTP. When it started it was compatible with TypePad and Blogger and now works with all famous blogging platforms including WordPress – I like the fact that they have a very passionate team who are constantly developing and fixing any bugs and solving our queries.
Lets say you want to add text links (affiliate stuff) and advertisements, using Triggit, you just select the word/s you want to link and chose which merchant site. It does not require any plugin installation and so can be a nice addition to a blogger’s toolbox who like the simple way of doing such things.
Coming out of their alpha, Triggit has already reached to 1,00,000 people through the bloggers using the toolbar as test. It currently allows you to can add affiliate links of Amazon, Commission Junction, Shopping, Snooth, Wine Searcher, and Wine Zap. Some are getting click through rates of ten percent and have CPMs of more than $25 dollars. They are also working further so that one can use any image ads into the blog as well.
Triggit is certainly a simple and impressive way of editing the web pages and I’m sure that new bloggers will surely love it and the ease of including the affiliate links is pretty simple and thus will attract pro bloggers too.
