Clipmarks Launches ClipWeek!

clipweek newsletterClipmarks, A little more than the social bookmarking service has launched the weekly newsletter called ClipWeek. Clipweek will feature the top clips (submissions or bookmarks), featured clippers and the news related to Clipmarks. The clipmarks service was reviewed in June 2006 and it was considered that it was way better than Google Notebooks. The step of starting ClipWeek is most likely taken to increase the user involvement, which is most likely missing as compared to many other social bookmarking services. It will be good to see if Clipmarks gets equal popularity as other services like Digg, Reddit and Del.Icio.Us have got.

Clipmarks has improved a lot in its interface from last time. Now, it has more like Google Reader design, where we have the clips on the left and then the main content of the clip on the right hand side and that too scrolls in a small box and thus the full page scrolling is not there anymore and looks much neat and clean than before.

However, what I would like to see more will be the use of AJAX in case of logging into the service and displaying of the clips. Not only that will make the site much more easy to use but will make it much more nice looking and useful.
