threadeathIf you are a blogger, then you know the pain of increasing the traffic and if you are a blogger like me, who by default nature fails to include links in the posts, then you should consider using various widgets which display your bookmarks. There are various widgets for almost all the blog platforms and as you’ll be displaying links to other blogs then the possibility of them coming to your blog will increase a lot!

Too many outbound links are bad for SEO of my blog!

I used to think the same but then I realized that the game of SEO is really for those who are not into updating their websites regularly. As a blogger you should not be worrying too much about SEO and if you are using WordPress then a little bit of work around will solve most of the problems and no need of SEO will be required.

Can you suggest me some of the social media sharing widgets ?

of course I can and I will (after all, that’s why I’m sharing this tip with you)! However, I’m putting the list of only 3 major bookmarking websites and the widgets are only for WordPress (my fav. blogging platform). However, if you’ll search for a plugin/widget of your fav. bookmarking website for your fav. blog platform, then I’m sure you’ll easily find one. Anyway, here are the widgets/plugin :

1. StumbleCrumble : StumbleUpon is one of the best social media service and this is the service which I’ve integrated in my blog too. StumbleCrumble is an highly configurable plugin and the instructions of setting it up are pretty simple too. (via : DailySeoBlog)

2. Google Reader : This excellent widget displays your recent shared items in Google reader. Google reader is my favorite RSS reader and I regularly share various items too. As it’s a wordpress widget, it’s quite easy to configure as well.

3. Delicious bookmarks : It’s again pretty simple plugin of wordpress which displays your recent bookmarks at del.icio.us.

What do you think that, if this trick can help in getting the traffic to your blog or not ? I certainly believe that it will bring the traffic for sure! I’ll try and provide the stats in near future to show that this trick can certainly help in spreading the word out about the blog.
