ReviewSaurus 2 : Unique WordPress theme!

I’m not sure if it’s unique or not but the idea was unique for me. Rajat and me were thinking of a different kind of layout for ReviewSaurus and we’d decided that we don’t want that regular magazine style theme but we want something different.

Anyway, we came up with the idea of displaying three categories on the homepage and thought that each post will be posted in these categories only and the post will get updated in that particular section only.

It’s not like normal blog where the recent posts are displayed at the top and then older ones towards the bottom, It’s not a magazine style theme, it displays latest post in a category and then gives the links of last 5 posts in that category.

Currently there are 3 categories : software reviews, web applications and tips and tricks and most of the posts will be under these categories only. There may be few post which won’t find perfectly under these categories (like this current post) but will be posted in the most closely related category.

The idea of this theme was to ensure that it loads up quickly and gives a neat and pleasant experience to the readers as I think that previous theme was just too much cluttered and we decided to concentrate more on typography on this theme.
